Taking the First Step

Starting therapy can be a big step, but Katt McDonald OT is here to help. We provide personalised, professional services to people in need. Our first session is as easy as sitting down and talking things through. Hosted in the comfort of your own home or a location of your choice, we'll be there to help you get started on your journey to independence.

To get started, we like to get to know our clients and their families. We may complete some essential daily tasks with you or conduct specific assessments to help us understand what's working well and what isn't, so we can build a vision of success together. Our therapists will also assess your abilities to better understand why activities can be challenging. All of this information helps us to develop a personalised care plan tailored specifically to you.

Whether it's getting out and about more, preparing for a job interview, or learning some new life skills—we'll be there every step of the way. Contact Katt McDonald OT today to arrange your first session. We are a registered NDIS provider serving the Northern Rivers region.

About the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a government funded support system that helps people with disabilities achieve their goals and live independently. It provides funding for services and equipment people with disabilities need to live their lives the way they want to.

If you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident with a disability, you may be eligible for the NDIS. If you qualify, we will work with you to develop a personalised care plan that outlines your goals and the support you need to achieve them. We can help you find a job, get around your community and connect with other people with disabilities.

Funded supports and services under the NDIS can include:
